It might be hard to believe, but cardiovascular disease is the number one killer of women worldwide.
Monday 29 September is World Heart Day, and this year it’s all about raising awareness about heart disease in women. The World Heart Federation is releasing a new video to encourage all ladies to take action to protect their heart.
This is a really important topic we need to talk about – women are WAY more likely than men to be underdiagnosed and undertreated.
Get Active to Help Your Heart
Good news! Being active helps protect your heart from the number one killer of women, heart disease. So ladies (and gentlemen), take charge of your heart health by getting active or playing sport.
Spread the word on World Heart Day and make a healthy heart your goal!
