hi

Jen O’Loughlin

~Weight lost: 17kgs~

“I definitely had some weak moments and self-doubt, but I never gave up. I tried to remember that I have had bad eating habits and negative self-image ingrained for 40 years, and this will take time to change. When I was struggling, I was kind to myself and endeavoured to do better the next day. I now know if I am to look or feel differently about myself, that I am responsible for making that happen – no-one else. I’m accountable, educated, motivated, enjoying my new wardrobe and keen to prove to myself that reaching my goal weight is possible. I am so grateful for the opportunity and expertise 12WBT provides to me, and I am positive about my future.”

“I am so proud of the way I look at food now. No longer do I sit at my desk and eat a whole family-sized block of chocolate! I can’t even imagine doing that now! My will power is so much stronger and my focus is more on what is this food going to do to my body. I was such an excuse maker and it completely defeated my self-esteem and the way I felt. I have made so many changes and pushed through so many hurdles with regards to food. I love you all and thank you so so much, you have given me my life back.”

Hayley Germaine

~Weight lost: 16kgs~

“I’m extremely proud of my weight loss, especially considering that 5 months ago I broke both my legs. I’m so proud of the focus & commitment I’ve had to the meal plan & for finding a way to make it work weeks after getting out of a wheelchair. I knew I had to lose weight to aid in my long term recovery and to ensure I was able to stay active with my 3 kids. I am so much happier within myself, feeling confident, buying new clothes & knowing no matter what life throws at me, I will find a way through it.”

“I’m most proud of the massive 38cm I have lost, particularly around my waist. I’m also happy with my fitness test results. I’ve been getting consistently faster and I feel fantastic! I can’t wait for the next challenge to continue progressing with this! My energy levels are so much better, not just when I’m training, but all day long! I feel so much better about myself and my self-esteem is better than it’s been in a long time. I feel mentally tougher and keen to take on each day and each new incremental challenge. I think I’m the happiest I’ve been in a long time too.”

“I am most proud of the differences in my body shape. I’m loving the improvements in my fitness and strength and am looking forward to increasing my weights. I’m able to pump out those squats and punch out those jabs so much easier now. My mantra has been JFDI. You definitely feel mentally refreshed after exercising. I’ve had crappy days at work but have pushed through and completed my workouts and felt so much better (and sweatier!). I am even more determined to reach my goals and make these permanent changes in my life.”
