How I did it
Make it fun and move. It doesn’t matter how much, just start. It was fun, different, and the people were supportive.
Find a sport you that you enjoy and you will learn to love exercise. As the weight falls off, it gets easier too, what better motivation.
What I’ve learned
I didn’t know anything about nutrition growing up. We were a meat and three veg kind of family. It wasn’t all that unhealthy, but looking back, I didn’t make the best choices.
It wasn’t until I stumbled across 12WBT that I knew this was what I needed. I jumped in head first and it was the best decision I’ve made.
I followed the guidance I was given, I cut the junk, I started eating clean, making better choices and I started to feel the rewards! It was amazing. As I started to lose weight, it gave me motivation and fuel to keep going.
The best part for me was the recipes. I started trying things I never would have dreamed of. I also found the motivational videos an amazing source of support.
I learnt to love my body along the way, and although I’m still on my own journey, I accept myself the way I am. Nothing is going to stop you from achieving your goals except you!
