Inspiration to Join 12WBT
12WBTer Nikki is a vibrant, healthy, flame-haired woman. It’s hard to believe she was once 45 kilos heavier than her trim self. “Before I started 12WBT I was severely overweight and generally unhappy. I was grumpy, tired and would avoid social situations,” admits Nikki.
Turning point: It’s not a diet, it’s a lifestyle!
Nikki says the turning point came when she made the decision to make her health a priority. “Now I’m out there, living life and stepping out of my comfort zone. I never looked at it as a diet, to me it’s a lifestyle. This is the way I live my life now and that’s the choice that I’ve made.”
Nikki admits there are definitely times she doesn’t feel like going to the gym or working out, but she made the decision to prioritise exercise – and she’s sticking with it!
12WBT is Important
“Pre-Season has been extremely important to me. It really sets you up to think about the tough questions – things you know you should probably be thinking about in your life but you don’t. Sometimes it’s confronting, but Pre-Season makes you consider where you’re at and where you want to be,” says Nikki.
